Dawn Lewis serves as the chief people officer at the June Shelton School and Evaluation Center, where she develops and leads HR practices that nurture an employee-oriented, high-performance culture. Prior to joining Shelton, Lewis served for ten years as head of HR at The Episcopal School of Dallas. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles across banking, healthcare and the nonprofit sector, including positions as assistant vice president at Town Center Bank, director of business development for TienaHealth Medical Group and director of business services for Coppell Family YMCA. Lewis earned her bachelor of arts in human resources from American Intercontinental University and a master of jurisprudence in labor and employment law from Tulane Law School. She also holds the SHRM-SCP certification from the Society of Human Resources Management.
