The NBOA Human Resources Institute (HRI) equips independent school professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage people operations within an independent school environment. This four-day, immersive experience provides foundational guidance on the regulations and compliance issues most relevant to independent schools, as well as essential components of strategic HR leadership and emerging trends. HRI was designed specifically for professionals with responsibilities in or oversight for HR in independent schools. Offering foundational support as well as information about current trends and tools and insights from subject-matter experts, attendees may include new or experienced human resources directors, business officers who oversee the HR function and those aspiring to become the HR director at an independent school.
A faculty of experienced independent school HR professionals will join our in-house subject matter experts and NBOA legal counsel to lead more than a dozen informational sessions, interspersed with more intimate facilitated discussions on topics such as cultural alignment and process implementation.
