Megan Butz is an attorney who joined Checkwriters in 2020 as general counsel for HR compliance. She is responsible for reviewing, revising, and implementing the company’s internal policies; advising on human resource, employment, and labor matters; and monitoring and researching state and federal legal updates on behalf of Checkwriters clients. Prior to joining Checkwriters, Butz served in private practice and before that as a judicial law clerk for the justices of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court, performing legal research and writing.
