Andrew Schneider is the associate head of school for finance and operations and chief financial officer at the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Schneider oversees all aspects of business operations, including finance, facilities, security, technology, food service, human resources, auxiliary programming and risk management. He previously served as the chief financial officer and director of operations at the Peck School in Morristown, New Jersey from 2015 to 2022. He began his career in independent schools as a classroom teacher at the Kent School in Kent, Connecticut, where he taught 10th and 11th grade English, in addition to working in the admissions office and coaching varsity crew and varsity cross-country. Schneider is also an alumnus of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a BA from Rutgers University, an MA from Middlebury College and an MBA from George Washington University. Schneider currently resides in Morristown, New Jersey, with his partner, Jessica, and their three young children.
