Key School

Natalie Hood serves as the human resources director at Key School in Annapolis, Maryland. She has over nine years of experience in independent schools, having previously served in HR leadership roles at Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, Maryland, and Sandy Spring Friends School in Sandy Spring, Maryland. At Key School, Hood helped establish both the faculty advisory committee and staff advisory committee, long-requested initiatives that strengthen communication, build community and ensure voices are heard as the school’s culture and mission evolve. Hood holds a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in human resources management from Strayer University, as well as a master of science in human resources development from Towson University, where she specialized in industrial-organizational psychology. She is an active member of the National Association of University Women (NAUW) and has served on its education and scholarship committee. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
