Chad Stacy is chief financial officer of Sun Valley Community School, a preschool-grade 12 school with 421 students in Sun Valley, Idaho, nestled at the base of Bald Mountain ski resort. Stacy has worked in independent schools for 15 years. When he worked at Dunn School, Dunn received the 2023 NBOA Jeffrey Shields Innovation in School Business Operations Award for Stacy’s work on the Financial Sustainability Heat Map. Before working in the independent school sector, he earned his CPA certificate and valuable experience as an auditor at Ernst & Young.
