Workforce management is an essential element of a functional independent school. The ability to anticipate staffing needs and fill those positions with appropriately trained and resourced faculty and staff is the primary duty of a school’s human resources function. In this strategic human resources workshop, learn how to analyze the school’s staffing needs and develop a plan to address gaps and future shifts in staffing. Participants will learn techniques to stabilize excessive turnover and retain institutional knowledge and will discuss professional development options and motivational tools to maximize the potential of the school’s faculty and staff.
