Cash Flow Forecasting

Cash Flow Forecasting

This hands-on workshop equips business leaders with a practical, easy-to-use and powerful cash flow forecasting tool that helps them make timely and prudent decisions with their school’s liquid resources. Participants will learn how to anticipate liquidity needs, plan for seasonal fluctuations and make informed decisions, regardless of whether their school is navigating a cash-strapped environment or managing a healthy surplus.  Through guided practice, real-world scenarios and peer discussion, attendees will leave with a customizable forecast they can implement immediately to strengthen financial resilience, support strategic priorities and communicate more effectively with heads, boards and finance committees.

Learning Objective(s):

  • Learn how to set up and use the cash flow forecast model.
  • Understand how to use the model to support decision making around tuition timing, auxiliary programs, debt service and reserve management.
