Independent Schools are employing four generations while educating a fifth. While not all generational expectations will be true for all employees, the work and social habits of Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Zoomers can be very disparate, and a lack of understanding between generations could lead to conflict in our schools. When generational differences are viewed by everyone as strengths, our schools become more dynamic learning centers. Join us as we explore the underpinnings of generational behaviors and develop strategies to cultivate understanding and collegiality in the workplace while re-affirming the school’s role in educating the leaders of tomorrow.
