Notification of cancellation must be made in writing to NBOA at programs@nboa.org.
If a participant cancels his or her registration for an in-person, group-based program more than 30 days prior to the event, the participant will receive a refund for any fees paid less an administrative processing fee. A registrant cancelling fewer than 30 days prior to the event will forfeit all registration fees paid in their entirety. It will not be possible to accommodate exceptions.
NBOA will not provide individual registration or exhibitor fee refunds for attendee no-shows or cancellation due to illness, travel, work, family, inclement weather, emergency situations or any other reason outside the association’s control. No refunds shall be made for cancellations due to inclement weather. Attendees who purchase nonrefundable airline tickets do so at their own risk.
Annual Meeting 2021 Virtual Program Event
Cancellation of your school or company registration applies to ALL registered members of your school or organization. All registrants will lose access to the live virtual event and session recordings. Organizations cancelling more than 30 days prior to the event will receive a refund for any fees paid less an administrative processing fee. Organizations cancelling fewer than 30 days prior to the event will forfeit all registration fees paid in their entirety and will not receive a refund, but will be granted access to session recordings.
For NBOA's Annual Meeting and Business Officer Institute, the administrative processing fee is $100; for all other NBOA in-person events, the processing fee is $50.
If a course registrant cancels his/her registration more than one week prior to the start of the course, the registrant will receive a refund for any fees paid less a non-refundable administrative processing fee of $50. No refunds will be made in the seven days prior to the start of the course or after the course begins.
If a registrant is unable to participate in an online course, he or she may be eligible for a future online course credit if they notify NBOA in writing by the end of the first week of the course. The credit is nontransferable and may be applied to any future NBOA online course in the next 12 months, pending availability in that program.
If a nonmember registers for an NBOA webinar but does not attend the presentation, the registration fee cannot be refunded. A nonmember registrant can view the archived version of the webinar for up to 30 days following the live presentation; otherwise, the webinar archive is only accessible to NBOA members. To request the temporary link, please email NBOA at programs@nboa.org.
If NBOA must cancel a program for any reason, a notification email will be sent to all pre-registered participants. Pre-registered participants will receive a full refund of any deposit or program fees paid.
