(From HR Dive) Slightly more than half (51%) of neurodivergent workers want to quit their jobs or already have because they don’t feel valued or supported by their employer, according to the Neurodiversity at Work 2023 report by Alludo, a global technology company. Twenty percent of U.S. adults have a neurodivergent condition, such as by having ADHD, autism spectrum disorder or dyslexia, yet many feel that they cannot disclose their neurodivergent condition in the workplace. Those who felt uncomfortable said they feared their supervisor would think they couldn’t do their job, that they would be treated differently or that they would be overlooked for promotions, the survey found.
