Report: Employees Would Leave Job for 13% Pay Bump

(from SHRM) A new report from BambooHR has found the average pay jump it would take for workers to leave their current job shrunk from 16% in 2022 to 13% in 2023. 27% of women expressed frustration with their compensation, up from 16% in 2022, compared with 15% of men, up from 11% in 2022. Just over 40% of workers haven’t received a salary increase in the past 12 months. For those who did get a raise, the average salary increase was 4.6%, compared with 6.2% in 2022.
