(From The74) As schools nationwide adopt cellphone restrictions, new research shows most teens and parents support the rules — but students often ignore them. A University of Southern California study found 98% of students attend schools with phone policies, and 76% of teens and 93% of parents back some form of ban. Still, students spend about 90 minutes on their phones at school each day, regardless of how strict the rules are. Two-thirds of teens at schools with full bans admit to using their phones during the day. Researchers say support is strong, but enforcement remains a challenge.
