Supreme Court To Rule on Affirmative Action

(Inside Higher Ed) Colleges and universities are closely watching for the Supreme Court's decision on affirmative action, among other cases, which may come as soon as this Thursday. Most are planning for an end to Affirmative Action. The Common App will continue asking questions on race and ethnicity said the company's president and CEO. The Common App does not receive federal funds and so is not covered by most of the federal laws about discrimination in education programs. However, it's unclear how schools may or may not use that information. The Court's decision should be made before the end of June.
