(from Inside Higher Ed) Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, has increased new freshmen enrollment by 86% over the past 10 years. The college has expanded its admissions videos, covering topics such as how to submit a competitive application, financial aid, different majors, careers for graduates, athletics, other extracurricular activities and more. Admissions staff also interviews as many applicants as possible (around 70%) so that prospective students get to know the university better. And 80% of students apply without submitting standardized tests, which are optional. Lynn has also not lost international students, which come mainly from Brazil, the Bahamas, Italy, Spain and Venezuela.
