College Closes After Ransomware Attack

(From The New York Times) Lincoln College, a 150-year old school in central Illinois, is closing its doors after a severe ransomware attack in December that took months to remedy. Although the school says no personal identifying information was stolen, the cyberattack shut down the school's student recruitment, retention and fundraising operations.
