Given the pressures that independent schools face today, schools’ financial reporting is under heightened scrutiny. Developing methodologies to analyze a school’s financial position can have a considerable positive impact without significant work. In digging deeper into data and employing peer and aspirational benchmarking comparisons, business officers will not only address an important need in the financial reporting process, but also propel planning processes for the leadership team and board of trustees. This program will include an interactive discussion on how to create and use valuable tools in analyzing school results and projecting financial outputs.

Learning Objectives: Participants will learn different tools and methodologies that may be utilized in analyzing a school’s financial condition using data and peer comparisons.
